I am extremely disturbed with individual’s, church’s and denomination’s flagrant falling away from placing the Scripture as the final authority.  In its place they maintain a spiritual life that places more importance on the shifting and flighty feelings and experiences, which could easily be compared to sinking sand. Revivals that encourage and teach people to exegete their experiences rather than the Word of God lead people away from a faith with a firm foundation to one founded on emotions and emotionalism. The chasing of signs, wonders, healings and personal prophecies on a near hysterical scale, has left many wounded and confused, others frustrated and angry, and still others excited and consumed with self and looking for their next emotional high.

The matter be helped with the simple initiation of dialog between sincere individuals that desperately want nothing else than to live their lives to the glory of God.  Quite possibly, this blog might be able to bring about some of that type of fruitful discussion, where believers might be able to learn something from each other.  All the while sharing truth, in love.
